The effects of augmented reality‐supported instruction in tertiary‐level medical education

A significant body of the literature has documented potential Augmented Reality (AR) in education, but little is known about effects AR-supported instruction tertiary-level Medical Education (ME). This quasi-experimental study compares a traditional instructional approach with supplementary online lecture materials using digital handout notes control group (n = 30) and an educational AR application experimental to investigate any possible added-value gauge impact each on students' academic performance training satisfaction. study's findings indicate considerable differences both satisfaction between two groups. The participants performed significantly better than their counterparts, outcome which also reflected level through interacting viewing 3D multimedia content. contributes by providing guidelines how intervention can be integrated into ME provides empirical evidence benefits that such have knowledge acquisition.
